Who we are

TravelOffice™ is owned and operated by Tantris Travel and Conferences (Pty) Ltd, a 100% Black Owned Company. The TravelOffice™ brand is focused on helping South African travellers compare flight options and understand the practical decisions around the complete journey.

A South African travel platform

TravelOffice™ is operated from South Africa by Tantris Travel and Conferences (Pty) Ltd. The platform’s primary flight-search, route-intelligence and editorial focus is South African air travel, including domestic city pairs, local airports and routes from South African departure cities.

Business identity, ownership, office address and contact details are published openly so travellers, search engines, journalists and partners can verify who operates the platform.

Original fare intelligence

TravelOffice™ maintains a South Africa Flight Price Index built from fare observations stored by the site. Where enough history exists, route pages show recent low fares, daily price trends, cheapest dates found and route-level market signals. Missing observations are not filled with invented prices.

Monthly flight price reports and the Flight Data & Media Centre are designed to make this original dataset transparent and citable.

What TravelOffice™ does

TravelOffice™ helps travellers search and compare flight options, then understand the route, airport, baggage, timing, transfer and total-trip decisions around the booking. The site focuses heavily on flights within and from South Africa.

Flight-search technology returns options available for the route and dates entered at the time of search. TravelOffice™ also publishes editorial guides, route information, fare intelligence and calculators that remain separate from the live booking transaction.

How TravelOffice™ is different

A flight price on its own can be misleading. Airport location, baggage, connections, car hire, parking and ground transfers can turn a low fare into a poor trip. TravelOffice™ therefore treats the door-to-door journey as the real comparison.

Regional South African travel also needs local context. A safari airport, Garden Route arrival or provincial business trip can be shaped by road distance and transfer timing as much as the flight itself.

Editorial responsibility

Guides are maintained by the TravelOffice Editorial Team under the ownership of Tantris Travel and Conferences (Pty) Ltd. Where an airline, airport, government authority or another primary source controls a rule, travellers are encouraged to verify the current requirement with that source before travel.

Commercial relationship and bookings

TravelOffice™ provides search, comparison and travel information. Search functionality may use affiliate technology supplied through Travelpayouts and participating travel advertisers. If an eligible booking is completed after using a search result or affiliate link, TravelOffice™ may receive a reward or commission.

TravelOffice™ does not issue the airline ticket or become the travel supplier merely because a traveller used the site. The final checkout and booking confirmation identify the airline, agency or other provider responsible for the reservation, payment, ticketing, changes, cancellations and refunds.
